Was attempting to connect to the Pumpki.ca FTP and accidentally selected the wrong account. Consequently I was taken to the FTP for the first website I ever made. (Well... Sort Of, It's the newest version of the first site I made). As I'm viewing this through a work-in-progress version of R3L0AD 3 it seems that I've learned a lot over the years:
-Don't even try drawing, just get someone else to do it.
-Don't trust GeoCities (Most of the site doesn't work now)
-There are ad-free free webhosts
-PHP
-Don't rely on self to make content, cause I know I won't do it. I'm a programmer darn it!
-Frames are a Bad Bad way to design a web page
-How to spell Beta
-How to make my own forms (Actually I knew how to do this before, but now I can code the back end)
-Colour coded links are a bad idea
-Don't put a hit counter if the number is pitiful
-No one wants to see a splash-screen everytime they go to the site.
-Don't put a subscriber only section if you are the only subscriber.
My First Website
